Welcome to Julias Duo’s book cafe concert with a mix of jazz, baroque, folk psalms, and improvisation. Julia and Julius are two composers with a secret second life as an experimental voice/piano duo.
This is Julias’ debut concert, apart from pop-up singing with melodica in the forest. The concert is inspired by a mystery pianist who played in Mint Vinetu for ten electric minutes and left without showing his face. Free entrance.
Julia Constance Wiger-Nordås is an experimental artist singer composer from Norway, leaning into intuition, texture blocks, and radicality. She sings at sacred painting exhibitions, writes poetic text, composes handwritten music, improvises with strangers, creates concerts with silence, performs with secrets. Her practice lives in sketches and longing and veils. Current themes are poetic qualities of the skin and touching the invisible. Julia is in Vilnius for the Song as resistance residency at Sodas 2123 this Autumn.
Julius von Lorentz is a German composer, producer, and pianist. His works are so diverse that you would hardly believe they are all by the same person. And maybe Julius isn’t just one person. At least in his work, he is also an actor, tech freak, model, wannabe psychologist, influencer, instrument builder, and pop star. He loves challenging expectations, making bold decisions, and taking risks. In autumn 2026, Julius is going on a short world tour with his music, traveling to Portugal, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Canada, and China.
